Daycroft’s Parent-Toddler Program – for Your Child Age 18 Months to 3 Years

Montessori Fundays is a continuing program introducing parents or caregivers and their children ages 18 months to three years to the highly personalized approach to learning at Daycroft Montessori School of Ann Arbor.

On Montessori Fundays, a Daycroft teacher guides your child through introductory lessons using Montessori materials. This gives you a real sense of the Daycroft educational approach in action. You see how learning can be fun and effective when your young child, guided by our teacher, makes choices about what he or she learns.

2 Days per Week for Up to 6 Weeks – Or Single Lessons

Montessori Fundays offer you scheduling options:

  • You may enroll your child for a full program of two lessons per week (Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays) for up to six weeks (depending on the season). Or...
  • You can sign up your child for single lessons – as many lessons as you want, whenever you want.

Cost is $20 per lesson in a multi-week program, or $22 per single lesson.

What schedule of Montessori Fundays sessions during the 2011-12 school year will work best for you and your child?

All lessons are held from 9:00 to 10:30 at Daycroft’s Preprimary Campus at 100 East Oakbrook Drive in Ann Arbor. Enrollment is limited to eight children per lesson. Pre-registration is required.


Early Fall Fundays
  • Monday and Wednesday lessons: September 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28; October 3, 5, 10, 12. Cost: $200 for 10 lessons.
  • Tuesday and Thursday lessons: September 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29; October 4, 6, 11, 13. Cost: $200 for 10 lessons.
Late Fall Fundays
  • Monday and Wednesday lessons: October 24, 26; November 7, 9, 14, 16, (no lessons during Thanksgiving week), 28, 30; December 5, 7, 12, 14. Cost: $240 for 12 lessons.
  • Tuesday and Thursday lessons: October 25, 27; November 8, 10, 15, 17, (no lessons during Thanksgiving week), 29; December 1, 6, 8, 13, 15. Cost: $240 for 12 lessons.
Early Winter Fundays
  • Monday and Wednesday lessons: January 9, 11, (no lesson on January 16 for Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday), 18, 23, 25, 30; February 1, 6, 8, 13, 15. Cost: $220 for 11 lessons.
  • Tuesday and Thursday lessons: January 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, 31; February 2, 7, 9, 14, 16. Cost: $240 for 12 lessons.
Late Winter Fundays
  • Monday and Wednesday lessons: February 27, 29; March 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28. Cost: $200 for 10 lessons.
  • Tuesday and Thursday lessons: February 28; March 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29. Cost: $200 for 10 lessons.
Early Spring Fundays
  • Monday and Wednesday lessons: April 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30; May 2, 7, 9. Cost: $200 for 10 lessons.
  • Tuesday and Thursday lessons: April 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26; May 1, 3, 8, 10. Cost: $200 for 10 lessons.
Late Spring Fundays
  • Monday and Wednesday lessons: May 14, 16, 21, 23, (no lesson on May 21 for Memorial Day), 30; June 4, 6. Cost: $140 for 7 lessons.
  • Tuesday and Thursday lessons: May 15, 17, 22, 29, 31; June 5, 7. Cost: $160 for 8 lessons.
