Montessori Fundays

For Your Child Age 18 Months to 3 Years

Parents, come and explore with your child how fun learning can be at Daycroft Montessori School.

On Montessori Fundays, a Daycroft teacher will guide your child through introductory lessons using Montessori materials. You will see first-hand how Daycroft provides highly personalized learning in a warm, nurturing environment where children love to learn.

Fall 2010 Fundays

When: Montessori Fundays in Fall 2010 will begin the week of September 13 and will run through the week of December 13. There will, however, be no classes on October 20 and 21, and November 24, 25, and 26, in keeping with Daycroft's Fall 2010 breaks for parent-teacher conferences and the Thanksgiving holidays.

Parents can choose from two sessions:

• 3 days per week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
• 2 days per week: Tuesdays and Thursdays

All lessons are held from 9:00 to 10:30 am.

Where: Montessori Fundays in Fall 2010 will be held at Daycroft’s Preprimary Campus at 100 East Oakbrook Drive in Ann Arbor. View map »

Cost: $780 for the 3-days-per-week class (39 lessons in all); $520 for the 2-days-per-week class (26 lessons in all). Registration is limited to 10 children per class.

Enrollment Dates

In-house enrollment for Fall 2010 Fundays is happening now until July 2. In-house students are students who attended Fundays classes during the Spring 2010 term, or are siblings of Daycroft students.

Open enrollment begins on July 5.

Don’t delay! Daycroft has held two Montessori Fundays series so far — one in the February-March time frame, and the other in April-May. Both were resounding successes. Many parents whose children were in the first series re-enrolled their children for the second series, and we may get more repeat in-house enrollments in Fall 2010. This is a popular program — it fills quickly.

Spring 2011 Fundays

Daycroft plans to continue Montessori Fundays in Spring 2011, with series of lessons running from January through May. The exact Fundays dates and other details for Spring 2011 are to be announced.
